For 30 years the Clear Creek Booster Club has organized the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon.  Over the past three decades our efforts have provided hundreds of scholarships to deserving students who otherwise may not have been able to attend college.  We firmly believe that for students to succeed in life the community must be committed to their development.  All funds raised by the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon go the students of Clear Creek County to foster development in sports, clubs, civic activities and scholarships.
